Interstate 74 extends 2.5 miles north from U.S. 6 (Spruce Hills Drive) to I-80. A six-ramp parclo interchange (Exit 1) joins I-74 with 53rd Street in one mile. 06/21/22
I-74 runs between commercial corridors along Elmore Avenue in Davenport and Utica Ridge Road in Bettendorf on the ensuing stretch north from U.S. 6. 06/18/22
53rd Street constitutes a busy commercial arterial leading west to U.S. 61 (Brady Street / Welcome Way) in Davenport and east to 18th Street in Bettendorf. 06/21/22
Construction from 2010 to November 2012 expanded the previous diamond interchange at 53rd Street. 53rd Street was also widened to six lanes from Elmore Avenue to Corporate Park Drive. Loop ramps opened from 53rd Street to I-74 on June 15, 2012. 06/21/22
