The business loop for Interstate 80 at Sidney looped 8.4 miles north from I-80, between Exits 55 and 59. It was signed north along N-19, east along U.S. 30 (Lincoln Parkway / Illinois Street) and south along Nebraska Link 17J. Signs for the route were removed or greened out by 2009.

Nebraska Link 17J North
Nebraska Link 17J (Upland Parkway) north intersects Old Post Road amid an array of traveler services adjacent to Exit 59 of Interstate 80. Business Loop I-80 previously followed Nebraska Link 17J north to U.S. 30 west toward Downtown Sidney. This assembly was amended by 2009 to no longer include the business route shield. 09/05/05
Nebraska Link 17J links Interstate 80 and U.S. 30 along the eastern periphery of the Sidney city limits. Connections with U.S. 30 east lead motorists to U.S. 385 north toward Bridgeport in Morrill County. 09/05/05
Nebraska Link 17J South
L-17J approaches the exchange with I-80. Near this interchange is the nationally famous Cabela's, the World's Foremost Outfitter. A regional draw, the headquarters and flagship Cabela's store is located just west of this interchange in Sidney. 09/05/05
Sidney is located about midway between North Platte (119 miles) and Cheyenne (102 miles). 09/05/05
