The Wallace Business Loop of I-90 follows old U.S. 10 through the city center as the freeway lines northern reaches of downtown. Exit 61 consists of a diamond interchange with an access road connecting I-90 with North Frontage Road and Silver Valley Road (old U.S. 10). 09/01/06
Interstate 90 hugs the mountain side above both Wallace and the parallel Coeur d'Alene River South Fork on a 1991-completed viaduct. 09/01/06
Business Loop I-90 returns to I-90 along Bank Street to a modified diamond interchange (Exit 62) at the end of the Wallace viaduct. 09/01/06
The viaduct passes over 6th Street / Nine Mile Road just ahead of Exit 62 to Bank Street (Business Loop I-90 west) and SH 4 (Burke-Canyon Creek Road). 09/01/06
SH 4 travels 6.27 miles from Wallace through Woodland Park to the community of Burke where the state highway concludes. 09/01/06
Lowering from the eastbound mainline of I-90 along Exit 62 to Business Loop I-90 (Bank Street) west and SH 4 (Burke-Canyon Creek Road) east. Ramps in all directions come together at a single intersection by the westbound lanes. 09/01/06
Business Loop I-90 totals 1.24 miles through Wallace along Bank Street (Harry F. Magnuson Way) west to 5th Street north. The last traffic light along I-90 was a one-piece four-way signal located at Bank and 7th Streets. Signals remain at that intersection, but in flashing mode. 09/01/06
