Business Loop I-90 travels along a 4.2 mile course through the city of Austin in Mower County, following the route of old U.S. 16. The loop at Austin is the easternmost Business Loop for Interstate 90 nationally.

Beginning at a diamond interchange (Exit 175) with I-90 and CSAH 46, Business Loop I-90 and MN 105 proceeds east on Oakland Avenue W toward downtown Austin. MN 105 turns south along 12th Street SW as Business Loop I-90 splits into a one way couplet through 13 city blocks. Eastbound Business Loop I-90 dips south one block to follow 1st Street SW while westbound remains along Oakland Avenue. East and westbound converge at 1st Street SE as Business Loop I-90 continues along Oakland Avenue E to the Cedar River.

Bending southeast at the Cedar River crossing, Oakland Place advances Business Loop I-90 through Driesner Park before turning northeast to line East Side Lake ahead of its conclusion at a wye interchange (Exit 180A westbound) with I-90.

Business Loop I-90 East MN 105 South
Confirming markers posted for Business Loop 90 east and MN 105 south at 31st Street SW beyond their beginning at I-90 in western reaches of Austin. MN 105 turns south toward Iowa 1.4 miles ahead at 12th Street SW as Business Loop I-90 continues east into downtown. 06/15/15

Business Loop I-90/MN 105 conclude at the diamond interchange with I-90 in west Austin. I-90 proceeds 15.6 miles west to I-35 and Albert Lea. CSAH 46 continues Oakland Avenue beyond the exchange into rural Mower County. 06/15/15
