Grant Line Road (Former Indiana 111) crosses paths with Interstate 265 & Indiana 62 at a diamond interchange (Exit 3). The state road traveled 35.9 miles north from a dead end at the Ohio River in southern Harrison County to Bennettsville (Indiana 60), but was truncated north of Interstate 64 by early January 2013.1 Photo taken 11/12/04.
Eastbound Interstate 265 & SR 62 at Exit 3 to Grant Line Road (old SR 111). SR 111 formerly ventured south to Beechwood Avenue and Vincennes Street into downtown New Albany. Residential development abuts both sides of the freeway between Grant Line Road and Exit 4 (former Indiana 311). Indiana 311 (Charlestown Road) began at the forthcoming diamond interchange and traveled north 7.3 miles to U.S. 31 in Sellersburg. The entire routing of the state route was turned back to Floyd and Clark Counties by January 2013.1 Photo taken 11/12/04.

Interstate 265 & Indiana 62 cross Silver Creek, the dividing line between Floyd and Clark Counties, ahead of the Exit 7 ramp departure to Interstate 65. Interstate 265 ends and Indiana 265 begins. This interchange opened in 1977 with the Indiana 265 extension following in 1995. A stub end awaits its continuation of Interstate 265 to the East End Bridge project. Construction will extend this freeway north and east from here, with a Y-interchange allowing Port traffic to enter onto the freeway headed west. Photo taken 11/04/09.
Exit 10A leaves Indiana 62 & 265 east at milepost 9.0. East 10th Street leads south into the Oak Park community nearby. Indiana 62 east meanwhile utilizes the Exit 10B loop ramp and returns to its original alignment en route to Charlestown and Madison. Photo taken 11/04/09.
