Exit 26 to SR 527 is the first of three exits to the city of Bothell from I-405 south. The state route travels 9 miles north to Trashers Corner, Mill Creek, and I-5/SR 526 at Exit 189 in Everett. 08/29/06
The lone Snohomish County exit from Interstate 405 south is a six-ramp parclo interchange with SR 527 (Bothell Way) north and Bothell Everett Highway south. 08/29/06
Interstate 405 crosses the King County line ahead of Exit 24. Meeting the freeway next is NE 195th Street east of Ross Road and Beardslee Boulevard. Beardslee Boulevard angles southwest from Exit 24 to the Bothell city center. 08/29/06
A cloverstack interchange follows with the freeway along SR 522 at Exits 23 B/A. SR 522 joins Bothell with Woodinville and Maltby in Snohomish County as a limited access route. 08/29/06
SR 522 travels west from Exit 23 B to the University of Washington Bothell, Downtown Bothell, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park and Interstate 5 in Seattle. 08/29/06
Exit 23 A loops onto SR 522 east to Woodinville. SR 522 ends in Monroe at U.S. 2. Connections with U.S. 2 lead travelers across Stevens Pass in the Cascade Mountains to Wenatchee. 08/29/06
SR 202 begins at the exchange joining SR 522 and 131st Avenue NE iin Woodinville nearby. The state route meanders east along Woodinville Duvall Road from the city center to SR 203 at Duvall. 08/29/06
Leaving the Sammamish River Valley, I-405 advances south to the diamond interchange (Exit 22) with NE 160th Street near Kingsgate. 08/29/06
NE 160th Street leads southwest from Exit 22 as Juanita Woodinville Way NE to 100th Avenue NE at Kirkland. 08/29/06
The succeeding exit from I-405 south is for NE 124th Street in the Totem Lake Mall area of Kirkland. Construction added a half diamond interchange at NE 132nd Street to provide congestion relief for the six-ramp parclo interchange with NE 124th Street. 08/29/06
Shown during construction here is the carpool ramp for NE 128th Street. The HOV-only Exit leaves Interstate 405 south ahead of the NE 132nd Street under crossing. 08/29/06
Exit 20 for NE 124th Street departs Interstate 405 south at NE 128th Street. NE 124th Street heads west to Juanita and east to Sammamish Valley. 08/29/06
Collector distributor roadways line both sides of Interstate 405 through the cloverleaf interchange at Exit 18. NE 85th Street was a part of SR 908 between SR 202 and the Redmond city center until June 2010.1 08/29/06
NE 85th Street wesr of I-405 was also once part of SR 908. The western section was decommissioned in 1992.1 It followed Central Way west from NE 85th Street to Lake Street and Lake Washington Boulevard NE south. 08/29/06
NE 85th Street runs east to Rose Hill in east Kirkland, becoming Redmond Way at the city line to SR 202. 08/29/06
A folded diamond interchange (Exit 17) follows between Interstate 405 and NE 70th Place in Kirkland. NE 70th Place/ NE 70th Street lead east to Snyders Corner at the Redmond city line. Westward, NE 72nd Place / NE 68th Street continue the street to Feriton and Houghton. 08/29/06
Southbound I-405 enters Bellevue ahead of Exit 14 to SR 520. The freeway on SR 520 is a major commuting corridor between Redmond and Seattle. A cloverstack interchange joins I-405/SR 520 in a valley between the Ashwood and Northrup neighborhoods. 08/29/06
SR 520 stretches 12.82 miles between I-5 in Seattle and SR 202 in Redmond. The freeway previously crossed the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge, an outdated and narrow span over Lake Washington opened in 1963. Road work along SR 520 widened the freeway to the east and completely rebuilt the corridor westward with a new floating bridge and several cut and cover tunnels. 08/29/06
Two lanes leave Interstate 405 south to SR 520 at Exit 14. Yarrow Point and Clyde Hill lie to the west. The Redmond city center is 7.5 miles to the northeast. 08/29/06
Interstate 405 partitions with the ramps to SR 520 ahead of the Downtown Bellevue exits for NE 8th Street and NE 4th Street. 08/29/06
Tolls were implented along SR 520 west across Lake Washington in 2011. Toll collection helped cover the costs with building the new six lane crossing over the lake and overall corridor improvements between I-405 and I-5. 08/29/06
