Interstate 680 traverses the Missouri River flood plain west across Crescent Township, Iowa to the Mormon Bridge. 03/30/16
Interstate 680 around Omaha, Nebraska is a suburban bypass arcing 16.5 miles from I-80 northeast to the Mormon Bridge spanning the Missouri River, and east to I-29 and Old Mormon Bridge Road near Crescent, Iowa. The route previously extended north along a nine mile overlap with I-29 to Loveland, and along a 17 mile route across the Loess Hills east to I-80 near Minden. This changed in November 2019, when the freeway linking I-29 and I-80 was redesignated as new Interstate 880. Subsequently, the I-29/680 overlap south to Crescent was dropped.
