Louisiana Highway 3154 travels 3.2 miles north along a combination of Hickory and Dickory Avenue between LA 48 (Jefferson Highway) in Harahan to U.S. 61 (Airline Drive) in west Metairie. Dickory Avenue runs along the west side of the expansive Elmwood Industrial Park. The arterial ends from the north at Ninth Street, with traffic shifting onto two-lane Hickory Avenue. An extension of Dickory Avenue south to Jefferson Highway has been planned since the late 1990s.
