| Interstate 895 Spur northbound directs motorists from MD 2 (Ritchie Highway) northbound onto both Interstate 695 west / inner and Interstate 895 north (Harbor Tunnel Thruway). The spur provides a direct freeway link to the tolled Harbor Tunnel south of downtown Baltimore as well as a connection to Interstate 97 south by way of Interstate 695 west. 10/13/04 |

| MD 2 follows Light Street along the Inner Harbor between Key Highway and Pratt Street at downtown. The state route splits into a one way street couplet using Calvert Street (north) and St. Paul Street (south) through the central business district. Pratt Street flows east along the Inner Harbor to President Street and Little Italy.
