Following a circuitous route from North Smithfield to North Kingstown, Route 102 travels 44.5 miles through mostly rural areas of the Ocean State.

Route 102 East
Route 3/102 briefly overlap near the north Exeter community of Austin. Route 102 joins Nooseneck Hill Road after meeting Interstate 95 (Exit 5) before resuming east along Victory Highway to North Kingstown. 07/28/07

Route 2 North Route 102 South
Route 2 northbound joins Route 102 (Victory Highway) eastbound into North Kingston. 07/28/07
Route 2/102 enter a parclo interchange with the Route 4 freeway. 07/28/07
Access to northbound Route 4 utilizes an on-ramp leading south from the split of Route 2 north and Route 102 south. Commercial property lines both sides of Victory Highway ahead of the ramp. 07/28/07
Route 4 comprises a freeway north 6.5 miles onto Interstate 95 north toward Providence. 07/28/07
Ramps to and from Route 4 north tie into the intersection where Route 2 turns northward to resume along South County Trail. Route 102 south continues along Victory Highway east to Wickford Junction, Lafayette and Wickford. 07/28/07
