Loop 484 comprises a four-lane freeway from SH 6 and Loop 340 in east Waco with U.S. 77 Business (La Salle Avenue). The alignment represents the former route of SH 6.

A slip ramp joins the Loop 484 northbound frontage road near the industrial areas of Old Marlin and Chappel Hill Roads in east Waco. A 0.175 mile section off Chapel Hill Road nearby doubles as FM 742. Photo taken 10/23/07.
Interests to Baylor University are directed onto the approaching off-ramp for U.S. 77 Business (La Salle Avenue) south. The campus lies south of the Brazos River at University Parks Drive. Photo taken 10/23/07.
Loop 484 ends at a three-wye interchange with U.S. 77 Business at East Waco. A slip ramp joins the northbound frontage road ahead of the southbound ramp from Loop 484 north. Photo taken 10/23/07.
U.S. 77 Business travels southward along La Salle Avenue to U.S. 77 (18th Street) near Interstate 35 (Exit 334). Traffic otherwise defaults onto U.S. 77 Business northbound (New Dallas Highway), an expressway-like road between East Waco, IH 35, U.S. 84, west Bellmead and Lacy-Lakeview. A second slip ramp joins Loop 484 north with the adjacent frontage road before the merge with New Dallas Highway. Photo taken 10/23/07.
