3.44 miles in length, U.S. 13 Business follows the former route of U.S. 13 east from Post Road at PA 291 (Price Street) in Trainer onto W 4th Street in Chester. Approved by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) at the November 2020 meeting, U.S. 13 Business follows Highland Avenue north from 4th Street to 9th Street east. The remainder of the route lines 9th Street east toward Downtown Chester and U.S. 13 along Morton Avenue.
