U.S. 27 & SR 61 north
SR 366 signage appears ahead of the U.S. 27 & SR 61 (Monroe Street) intersection with Jefferson Street west. Jefferson Street flows west to Adams Street and a transition to Pensacola Street on the north side of the Florida State Capitol. The westbound streets were formerly apart of SR 366 until Pensacola Street was removed between Varsity Drive and Stadium Drive as part of a redesign of the FSU street system. Photo taken 11/26/14.
Jefferson and Pensacola Streets lead motorists west to the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center and Doak Campbell Stadium (home of FSU Seminoles football). The street forms a couplet with St. Augustine Street (old SR 366 east) between Varsity Drive and Monroe Street. An overhead sign directs traffic onto U.S. 90 (Tennessee Street) on U.S. 27 & SR 61 (Monroe Street) north. U.S. 90 takes Mahan Drive east from SR 265 (Magnolia Drive) to the eastern suburbs. U.S. 27 (Florida Georgia Highway) intersects Dorsey Calvary Road north and County Road 159 south just ahead of the Georgia state line at Darsey. Dorsey Calvary Road becomes Georgia 111 north en route to Reno and Cairo. Photo taken 05/02/09.
