U.S. 30 crosses the Buckeye State east from the Indiana state line in Paulding County to the Jennings Randolph Bridge spanning the Ohio River at East Liverpool. All of U.S. 30 is either a four lane highway or expressway east to East Canton. This includes bypasses of Van Wert, Delphos and Upper Sandusky in western Ohio. U.S. 30 upgrades to a freeway around Bucyrus in Crawford County east to Ontario, Mansfield and Interstate 71. Freeway segments also lead U.S. 30 east from Wooster in Wayne County to East Union and form south of Massillon to Canton in Stark County.

U.S. 30 is an Ohio scenic byway from East Canton to the Columbiana County seat of Lisbon. U.S. 30 combines with SR 11 along a freeway from south of Lisbon to the city of East Liverpool and West Virginia state line.

U.S. 30 East

U.S. 30 parallels Interstate 75 along a freeway just south of Beaverdam. A trumpet interchange connects with SR 696 (Lincoln Highway) north to I-75 and Main Street.

SR 696 runs west along Lincoln Highway (old U.S. 30) to an adjacent diamond interchange (Exit 135) with Interstate 75.
