This suite of photos displays U.S. 190 westbound at the Mississippi River Bridge between Baton Rouge and Port Allen. A Union Pacific Railroad line shares the bridge with four overall travel lanes. The trestle requires a more gradual ascent to the bridge and thus begins well ahead of the actual river span. Photos taken 08/12/02.
