U.S. 192 advances west a short distance to meet the north end of St. Johns Heritage Parkway. Funded by Brevard County, the $12.5 million belt route opened south from U.S. 192 to Emerson Drive on November 2, 2017. The initial 2.5 mile segment was completed south from Emerson Drive to Malabar Road in January 2015.1
St. Johns Heritage Parkway will fuel development of rural areas on the west side of Palm Bay, including the 3,980-acre Platte Ranch. The eventual south end will be at Interstate 95, where a $26.7 million diverging diamond (DDI) is being constructed north of Micco Road.1 Photo taken 04/01/14.
