Eastbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 approaching Ohio 93, next right. This exit leads one of the rare Interstate 277 shields. Even neutered shields, let alone state-name shields, are hard to locate along Interstate 277. Photo taken 5/21/02.
Eastbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 at Exit 2, Ohio 93 (Waterloo Road and Manchester Road). Exit 3 (Main Street) is another mile ahead, and Interstate 77 is located two miles ahead. Photo taken 5/21/02.
Eastbound Interstate 277 offramp to Ohio 93. The ramp does not actually go to Ohio 93 directly; one must make a left on Waterloo Road to get to Ohio 93. Photo taken 5/21/02.

Eastbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 approaching Exit 4, Interstate 77. As noted on the overhead sign, Interstate 277 ends at Exit 4, and U.S. 224 continues onward to Mogadore. Photo taken 5/21/02.
Eastbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 approaching Exit 4A, Southbound Interstate 77 to Canton. Canton is the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Photo taken 5/21/02.

Eastbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 at Junction Interstate 77 Northbound. Interstate 277 ends at this point, leaving U.S. 224 to continue as a freeway headed toward Youngstown and New Castle. Upon exiting on this ramp, the ramp wraps onto the right-hand side of Interstate 77, and the ramp from northbound Interstate 77 to westbound Interstate 277 is immediately visible as a left exit once merged onto the freeway. Interstate 277 west
Westbound Interstate 277 at Exit 1, Interstate 76. This marks the western terminus of Interstate 277. Note the alternate route signage for Interstate 76 and U.S. 224, which returns to Interstate 76 at the Ohio 21 interchange. Photo taken 5/21/02.
Westbound Interstate 277 and U.S. 224 as they merge onto Interstate 76. The overhead sign is for Ohio 619, which is the next exit for Interstate 76. Photo taken 5/25/02.
Interstate 277 scenes

Junction Interstate 277 shield located near Waterloo Road and Ohio 93. The directional arrow at the bottom indicates that a left turn is required to go east on Interstate 277 and straight ahead is required to go west on Interstate 277. A separate Junction U.S. 224 shield assembly is located near here, so U.S. 224 is not forgotten. Although there are plenty of overhead signs for Interstate 277, there are not many shields. Photos taken 5/21/02.
