The US 278 extension
US 278 is the former AR 4 from Wickes to McGehee. My guess is that the AR 4 signs will eventually be taken down after travelers get used to the US 278 designation. This picture was taken in Wickes, and is the first eastbound US 278 trailblazer.

US 278 and US 371 (former AR 24, AR 19, and AR 132), are multiplexed twice,
once in Rosston and once in Nashville, shown here.
