Interstate 25 continues south between Centrepoint Business Park and the Budweiser Event Center at Larimer County Fairgrounds in northeastern reaches of the city of Loveland.

Beyond Loveland, U.S. 34 leads to Estes Park, gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Just west of Exit 257, Boyd Lake, a 17,000 acre body of water that is popular with swimmers, water skiers and fishing enthusiasts during the warm Summer months, spreads to the north of U.S. 34.

Leaving Weld County, the ensuing exit from I-25 south is with SH 7 within the city and county of Broomfield. Growing from its original town center at 120th Avenue (SH 128) and Wadsworth Boulevard (SH 121), Broomfield was incorporated as a city in 1961. Eventually taking parts of four counties as it expanded, Broomfield became its own county in 2001.

Northwest Parkway (SH 470N) travels 8.05 miles west from upcoming Exit 228 through Broomfield toward U.S. 36 (Denver-Boulder Turnpike). E-470 loops 46.40 miles south to Denver International Airport (DEN), Aurora and I-25 at Lone Tree.

15.18 miles in length, the easternmost section of SH 7 (Route 007D) runs between U.S. 287 in Lafayette and U.S. 85 in Brighton. SH 7 west continues from U.S. 287 into Boulder and from Lyon to Estes Park via Allenspark.

E-470 is a toll road that bypasses the Denver metropolitan area. Northwest Parkway is the continuation of the Denver Beltway to Broomfield. Plans call for Northwest Parkway to be extended south to Golden, where it would connect with SH 470 and U.S. 6.
