Delaware State Route 7
Two logistics centers were built along the previously rural stretch of SR 7 north of U.S. 13/SR 72 and Wrangle Hill in 2019/20. 07/31/13
SR 58 west ahead of Geoffrey Drive and the frontage road to the Stanton campus of Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC). All signs for the exchange with SR 1/7 were replaced by 2012. 05/06/05
Churchmans Crossing is the name for an area bound by SR 7 to the east, SR 58 and I-95 to the south and SR 4 to the north. 03/20/04
Dual turn lanes take motorists onto a c/d roadway for I-95, SR 1 south to Dover and SR 7 south to Christiana. 03/20/04
A diagrammatic sign, replaced by 2015, outlined the forthcoming separation of SR 7 (Limestone Road) north from SR 4 (Mitch Road) east in Stanton. 06/16/12
Span wire supported signals along SR 7 (Limestone Road) north at Jane Way were replaced by mast-arms in Summer 2012. 06/12/12
This guide sign for forthcoming Exit 166 was installed by 1999 for the parclo interchange constructed at SR 58 (Churchmans Road). It was carbon copied after 2008. 05/20/07
Overheads for the split of SR 4 west from SR 7 south were also added by 1999. These were subsequently replaced after 2008. 05/20/07
These overheads on SR 58 east for the forthcoming interchange with SR 1 and 7 were carbon copied after 2007. 05/01/05
All remaining signs for SR 1 south and SR 7 on SR 58 (Churchmans Road) were replaced after 2007. 05/01/05
The northbound off-ramp from SR 7 to SR 58 (Churchmans Road) doubles as the movement required for motorists headed to I-95. 05/01/05
Stanton is an unincorporated community at the cross roads of SR 4 and 7 (Limestone Road), 1.75 miles north of SR 58. 05/01/05
Road A west at the SR 1 off-ramp taking SR 7 south from the freeway toward Stanton Christiana Road. A new ramp system was added to the right here during the multi-year project to upgrade the exchange between I-95 and SR 1. 03/27/04
The unmarked turn of SR 7 south from the SR 1 interchange to Stanton Christiana Road. An apartment complex is located across from this intersection now. 09/27/14
Dupont Highway previously continued with two southbound lanes through to U.S. 13 and SR 72 (Wrangle Hill Road). A lane drop occurs here now, with the right lane now accommodating turns onto Wrangle Hill Road north. Additionally this junction shield assembly was removed. 05/01/05
A wide shoulder takes the place of the previous right hand turn for U.S. 13/SR 72 north. The traffic pattern changed during the 2016 project to redesign the adjacent ramps with SR 1 into a diverging diamond interchange. 06/17/12
The previous ramp system joining Christiana Mall with adjacent SR 1 and SR 7 was vastly replaced with the 2011-14 reconstruction of the SR 1 and I-95 interchange. 12/23/06
The U-turn ramp along Mall Road north for the overpass linking with SR 7 south to Christiana is now the location where northbound traffic along SR 1 and 7 separate. 12/23/06
The direct ramp onto Interstate 95 north from the north end of Mall Road was realigned but remains in place. 12/23/06
Non standard signs dating from the 1978 opening of Christiana Mall directed traffic from Mall Road to I-95 and SR 7. This sign was located at the northbound ramp for I-95, which routinely backed up during peak hour traffic prior to the SR 1 interchange project. 12/23/06
