Delaware State Route 7

A wide shoulder takes the place of the previous right hand turn for U.S. 13/SR 72 north. The traffic pattern changed during the 2016 project to redesign the adjacent ramps with SR 1 into a diverging diamond interchange. 06/17/12

The previous ramp system joining Christiana Mall with adjacent SR 1 and SR 7 was vastly replaced with the 2011-14 reconstruction of the SR 1 and I-95 interchange. 12/23/06

The U-turn ramp along Mall Road north for the overpass linking with SR 7 south to Christiana is now the location where northbound traffic along SR 1 and 7 separate. 12/23/06

The direct ramp onto Interstate 95 north from the north end of Mall Road was realigned but remains in place. 12/23/06

Non standard signs dating from the 1978 opening of Christiana Mall directed traffic from Mall Road to I-95 and SR 7. This sign was located at the northbound ramp for I-95, which routinely backed up during peak hour traffic prior to the SR 1 interchange project. 12/23/06

Mall Road south split with a ramp passing below the adjacent overpass linking Christiana Mall with SR 7 (Stanton Christiana Road) to the west. 12/23/06

Prior to construction of SR 1 south to Bear, Mall Road curved east to wrap around Christiana Mall beyond the loop ramp for SR 7 north. The addition of the Christiana Retail Center followed, with Center Boulevard built to the east. 12/23/06
