Delaware State Route 141 – North
All guide signs for the cloverleaf interchange (Exit 1A) joining SR 141 (Basin Road) north with U.S. 13/40 (Dupont Highway) were carbon copied by 2012 to use Clearview font. This overhead was posted just ahead of Washington Avenue. 08/05/07
This overhead assembly was replaced with a monotube by 2019 that references exit only for the lane drop at Exit 1 A. 12/23/18
Phase 4 of the SR 141 Basin Road improvement project neared completion as SR 141 reached Exit 1A for Dupont Highway north. Signs placed here at the time still referenced the closed Exit 1B connection via Delaware Avenue. 04/10/04
Replaced by 2002, this older generation of overheads directed traffic to Exits 1A/1B on Basin Road north to U.S. 13/40 (Dupont Highway). U.S. 13/40 overlap for 3.8 miles between State Road and Farnhurst. 12/08/99
Crews installed a new overhead by 2005 for what was Exit 1B on SR 141 (Basin Road). This followed the closure of the intersection with Delaware Avenue just north of U.S. 13/40. Both signs were subsequently replaced by 2012. 08/05/07
An erroneous SR 202 / U.S. 141 shield assembly stood within the cloverleaf interchange at U.S. 13/40 (Dupont Highway) from at least 1999 until June 2012. U.S. 202 starts here and overlaps with SR 141 north to I-95. 07/03/10

This SR 41 trailblazer was posted between Washington Avenue and Jay Drive on Basin Road north. It was removed by 2015 when SR 41 was truncated from its end at SR 141 in Prices Corner west to Newport Gap Pike at SR 2. 06/10/12
Prior to the 2004 addition of the turnaround at Washington Avenue, truckers were directed north to a U-turn lane after Jay Drive. 08/31/04
The turnaround area beyond Jay Drive was closed off after 2004 and is now a part of the Delaware Air National Guard grounds. 07/03/10
The roadways of U.S. 202/SR 141 separate north of SR 37 (Commons Boulevard) to the beginning of the Newport Freeway. Replaced by 2007, this sign outlined the first three off-ramps. 04/24/04
Removed in 2019, an interchange sequence sign referenced the former alignment of SR 41 along Newport Gap Pike. The state route was truncated west from Prices Corner to SR 2 in 2015. 06/10/12
For a substantial period of time, the advance sign for Exit 3A to I-95, I-495 and U.S. 202 was missing from SR 141 north. The concrete roadway here was paved with asphalt after 2007. 04/10/04
Sign crews replaced the missing overhead for Exit 3A on SR 141 north with a somewhat nondescript panel by Aummer 2004. 08/31/04
Construction underway by early 2016 removed the crossover at Creekwood Drive and the forthcoming Airport Road extension from SR 141 south. 12/21/17
An array of U.S. 141 shields were erected for SR 141 in New Castle County in 1999. Assemblies were added at SR 34 and U.S. 202 (Concord Pike), and along the Newport Freeway northbound at I-95. This assembly was replaced by late 2001. May 2000

This set of signs along SR 141 north at the cloverleaf interchange with I-95 may have dated back to the 1979 completion of the Newport Freeway. They were carbon copied by 2002. 12/19/01
In addition to bad kerning on the control cities, replacement signage for Exit 3A omitted the U.S. 202 overlap with I-95 north. 04/10/04
Erected by 2010 and removed in 2016, the third generation of signs since 2000 at the cloverleaf interchange with I-95 used a mixture of Highway Gothic and Clearview fonts. 06/10/12
Trailblazers accompanied overhead signs for the 1984-extension of U.S. 202 south from Wilmington at Exit 3A. 04/24/04

An auxiliary lane formed from the I-95 southbound on-ramp for SR 141 north to Exit 4 in Newport. This sign was carbon copied with Clearview font, including the non-MUTCD use of Must Exit. 03/23/04
