Delaware State Route 141 - North

Approaching Centerville Road on SR 62 (Boxwood Road) west. The shield for SR 41 here alluded to the former overlap with SR 141 north from Newport to Prices Corner. It was finally taken down with the 2015 truncation of the route west to Newport Gap Pike. 04/24/04

Former shield assembly at Boxwood and Centerville Roads. An on-ramp connects Centerville Road with the Newport Freeway north from the west entrance to the former GM plant. Until 2015, SR 41 began at the nearby interchange of SR 141/2 (Kirkwood Highway). 04/24/04

Shields for SR 41, SR 62 and SR 141 were replaced at Centerville Road by 2010. SR 41 remained posted here until 2015. 07/08/10

This guide sign at the entrance ramp for SR 141 north on Centerville Road northbound was removed to accommodate a new sidewalk. 01/14/17

Centerville Road south at the former the Boxwood Road GM Plant entrance and northbound on-ramp to the Newport Freeway. Centerville Road is the old alignment of SR 141. 04/24/04

An older style two-digit shield assembly appeared along New Bridge Road just ahead of the SR 141 turn from the Tyler McConnell Bridge to Powder Mill Road. Rising Sun Lane and New Bridge Road was formerly a popular short cut from north Wilmington to SR 141. 07/15/00
