New signs were installed at U.S. 13/40 (Dupont Highway) between 2001 and 2004. They stayed in service until 2010, with replacements retaining Baltimore for U.S. 40 west. 05/19/07

Boxwood Road crosses over SR 141 ahead of Newport Gape Pike. A freeway style guide sign previously directed motorists onto Newport Gap Pike north for the continuation of SR 62 west and the frontage road south to Newport. 04/23/04

A TO banner for SR 141 south was added to the assembly at Boxwood Road and Newport Gap Pike prior to their removal in 2016. 06/15/12

The southbound on-ramp to SR 141 from Newport Gap Pike (old SR 41/141) serves traffic from Belvedere and SR 62 (Boxwood Road). Since replaced, the overhead here consisted of a bad overlay over a faded sign. 04/17/04

Airport Road turns east to run along side I-95 and I-295 to SR 141 at the south end of the Newport Freeway. 06/10/12

Improvements made to the cloverleaf interchange between SR 141 and I-95/295 between 2016-18 shortened Airport Road so that it ends at Basin Road south to New Castle. 09/28/14

The traffic light at SR 141 south was eliminated with the closure of Airport Road east to SR 141 north. Construction changed the connection to a right in right out movement. 06/10/12

A new set of shields were posted at Airport Road and SR 141 by 2014 despite the impending construction project to remove access to northbound. 09/28/14
