Pylons shunted traffic into a single lane as the Suncoast Parkway approached U.S. 98 (Ponce De Leon Boulevard) in northern Hernando County. 09/12/06

Stubs were incorporated on both roadways at the SR 589 north end for the planned extension of the Suncoast Parkway beyond U.S. 98. 06/08/09

The roadway stubs at the north end of the Suncoast Parkway were removed during a repaving project in 2014-15. 03/25/07

Construction of the Suncoast 2 extension to Crystal River redirected the northbound roadways to the left of this scene. 03/25/07
