Interstate 4 Florida - West

The on-ramp from Florida 46 added a fourth westbound lane through to the original ramp departure for SR 417 (Seminole Expressway) and CR 46A (H.E. Thomas, Jr. Parkway). A new c/d roadway system runs along side I-4 here now. 03/21/08

A two-lane slip ramp precedes the original SR 417 off-ramp by a half mile. A trumpet interchange joins Interstate 4 with the Seminole Expressway east to Sanford. 03/21/08

Ramps to SR 417 (Exit 101B) and CR 46A (Exit 101A) did not include return access to I-4 originally. Extension of the roadway north to include the SR 46 on-ramps added the I-4 on-ramp. 03/21/08

Exit 101B departed the former distributor roadway for SR 417 south to Orlando-Sanford International Airport and the east side of Orlando. New signs abbreviate International. 03/21/08

An older style sign with a cutout shield for SR 436 remained in use one mile north of Exit 92 until at least 2011. 01/01/06

Ramps from I-4 east and west to SR 414 previously combined ahead of a signalized intersection with Maitland Boulevard. Lake Destiny Road tied into SR 414 nearby with turning movements separated by concrete dividers. 03/20/08

Variable speed limits used along I-4 south from Lee Road to Colonial Drive defaulted at 50 miles per hour. 06/29/13
