Interstate 25 Colorado - North

SH 86 previously ended at 5th Street and Wilcox Street (former Business Loop I-25) in Castle Rock. SH 86 was truncated east to Rock Street in 1997, and rerouted north along Founders Parkway in 2006. This sign was subsequently removed. 11/11/03

Exit 181 formerly consisted of RIRO ramps with adjacent Wilcox Street. The ramp now joins Plum Creek Parkway independent of the former business loop into Downtown Castle Rock. 06/23/08

Six lane expansion of Interstate 25 north from Exit 182 was completed by 2008. This scene looks at the rural design freeway at the Wolfensberger Road off-ramp. 11/11/03

Interstate 25 narrowed below this art deco railroad bridge for the Union Pacific Railroad line prior to six lane expansion through Castle Rock. 11/11/03

U.S. 85 originally partitioned with Interstate 25 north at a wye interchange (Exit 183) with Santa Fe Drive north. Those ramps were dismantled, with U.S. 85 relocated north to Exit 184 at Meadows Parkway. 08/29/04

Ground level signs for Exit 184 included a blank space for the future Colorado 86 on Founders Parkway. 11/11/03

Prior to expansion of Interstate 25 to eight lanes between Castle Pine and Lone Tree, Exit 190 provided northbound access to parallel Clydesdale Road for the Oak Hill and Surrey Ridge communities. 11/11/03

Exit 190 utilized right in right out (RIRO) connections in both directions of I-25 just north of Oak Hill Lane. These were removed by 2011. 06/23/08

Exit 191 previously served an isolated area south of Lone Tree along Surrey Drive. Havana Street was extended south as a new frontage road, replacing a portion of Surrey Drive by the new Exit 192. 11/11/03

Interstate 25 north, 0.75 miles ahead of Lincoln Avenue (Exit 193), where the RidgeGate Parkway interchange (Exit 192) is now located. 11/11/03

Interstate 25 remained with just six lanes through Exit 193 with Lincoln Avenue until a project in 2014. 06/23/08

Signs for E-470 along I-25 north were replaced by 2016 to display the new trailblazer for the tollway. 06/23/08

The next three exits on I-25 north serve the Arapahoe County city of Centennial. This interchange sequence sign was removed during 2014-16 construction. 06/23/08

Replaced button copy sign for County Line Road (Exit 195) and overhead for C-470 and E-470 on I-25 north at Exit 194. 11/11/03
