Interstate 26 South Carolina – West

Expansion of Interstate 26 to six lanes from Exit 125 northward resulted in sign changes made for the Dixiane exit. Overheads now direct motorists to U.S. 21 & 176 in both directions. 12/19/13

The grassy median along I-26 at Exit 119 now accommodates an extra lane per direction separated by a concrete barrier. U.S. 21 & 176 shift from the east of the freeway here to the west to combine with U.S. 321 nearby. 12/19/13

The first guide sign for Interstate 77 along I-26 west was replaced during 2016 construction to expand the freeway to six lanes. 04/15/12

Sometime after 2007, the one-mile sign bridge for Exit 116 was knocked down, leaving a temporary sign installed in its place. 06/01/07

Speed limits lowered to 60 miles per hour on the one mile approach to Interstate 77 along Interstate 26 west. A new sign bridge was installed here for Exits 116 and 115 by 2016. 04/15/12
