A diagrammatic sign outline the lane configuration with the two left ramps at Exits 207B/C. It was replaced by 2012 with separate panels showing the two-lane drop for I-44 and Truman Parkway north. 12/20/09

Former diagrammatic overhead posted one half mile from the Poplar Street Bridge, where Interstate 55 combines with Interstate 64 & U.S. 40 to East St. Louis, Illinois. This sign was replaced by 2012 and again by 2014. 12/20/09

An arrow-per-lane (APL) sign outlined the movements of Interstate 44 east for Memorial Drive to the Gateway Arch and Downtown. It was replaced by a new pull through panel for I-44 east to I-70 west in 2014. The right panel was retained for the upcoming split of I-55 north from I-44 east to the Poplar Street Bridge (PSB). The ramp is now numbered Exit 291A. 05/03/12

Subsequently, exit numbers at the south split of I-44 and I-55 were switched so that the mainline of Interstate 55 is now left Exit 290B. 05/04/12
