I-75/85 Downtown Connector – North
This bridge mounted sign for Exit 244 at Fair Drive was replaced along with all other guide signs along the Downtown Connector northbound in 2014. 04/13/12
Sign changes made two miles ahead of the Capitol Hill Interchange (junction I-20) included the addition of a new panel for Exit 245 / Abernathy Boulevard. 04/13/12
I-75/85 northbound at Exit 244 to University Avenue (Georgia 54 east) and parallel Pryor Street. 04/13/12
Sign changes made at the Norfolk Southern Railroad overpass for Exit 246 replaced Downtown with Ga State Univ. The remainder of the signs were carbon copied. 04/13/12
Button copy overheads that were posted at the NS Railroad overpass on I-75/85 north. Exit 90 was a parclo interchange with Bass Street east to Capitol Avenue and Georgia Avenue (now Ralph D. Abernathy Boulevard) west to Mechanicsville. These ramps were removed to accommodate construction of Turner Field, the replacement venue for Atlanta Fulton County Stadium, which lied south of Fulton and east of Washington Streets. 04/10/95

Exit 246 parted ways with the Downtown Connector north for parallel Central Avenue into Downtown and Fulton Street at the Mechanicsville and Summerhill neighborhoods. 06/21/05
New signs were installed at Exit 246 by 2011, adding a conventional guide sign for the HOV ramp to Memorial Drive. Exit 247 follows in one half mile for Interstate 20. 04/13/12
The single I-20 panel for Exit 247 was replaced again by 2014 and a second time with an APL by Summer 2015. 07/04/12

Approaching the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive overpass ahead of Exit 248B to Edgewood Avenue on I-75 & 85 north. 12/31/12
I-75 & 85 north at Exit 248B. Sign replacements here indicate that both right-hand lanes depart for Edgewood Avenue, Auburn Avenue and Irwin Street, east-west streets between Downtown and Sweet Auburn. 12/31/12
A new full sign bridge replaced this overhead preceding the directional T interchange (Exit 248C) with Georgia 10 east. 12/31/12
SR 10 stems east from Exit 248 C and bridges across I-75/85 joining Freedom Parkway with Andrew Young International Boulevard west and Ellis Street east. 12/31/12
This set of signs at the Exit 248 C ramp separation were replaced to add the Georgia Aquarium for Andrew Young International Boulevard west and MLK, Jr. National Historic Site for SR 10 east. 08/22/03
Ramps from SR 10 west and Highland Avenue merge onto I-75/85 north as the Downtown Connector enters a cut and cover tunnel below Piedmont Avenue. Attached to the structure were these replaced overheads for Exits 249 B/D. 12/31/12
Peachtree Street passes over I-75/85 as Exit 249 B loops away from the Downtown Connector for Pine Street. These overheads were replaced by 2014, with the Exit 249 B retaining U.S. 19, despite that U.S. 19 no longer travels Peachtree Street south of 14th Street. 12/31/12
Sign changes made by 2012 include separate exit tabs for Spring Street and 10th Street but continue to incorrectly display U.S. 19 for West Peachtree Street. 06/01/07
The first set of signs posted for the upcoming split of Interstates 75 and 85 were replaced by 2012 to include the MUTCD-approved left-exit tab. 06/01/07
Signs for Interstates 75 and 85 at Exit 250 were removed by 2011 during a sign replacement, though a new panel touted the left-hand ramp for HOV motorists continuing along I-75 north to Marietta. 06/01/07
Signs attached to the 10th Street overpass for the I-75 & 85 split (Exit 251) were removed and replaced by a new sign bridge installed by 2011. 06/01/07
Overheads added for I-85/75 were replaced after just three years of service in 2014 with a wide APL. Three lanes take travelers onto I-85 northeast to SR 400 at Buckhead and Greenville, South Carolina while three turn northwest for Marietta and Chattanooga, Tennessee via I-75. 12/31/12
Descending toward the end of the I-75/85 overlap below the original 14th Street overpass. Expansion of the freeway here shifted the southbound lanes further west. 06/01/07
New signs accompanied the new 14th Street (U.S. 19) overpass ahead of the I-75/85 separation. These were replaced by 2014 with a wide APL. 12/31/12
