I-75/85 Downtown Connector - North



Sign changes made by 2012 include separate exit tabs for Spring Street and 10th Street but continue to incorrectly display U.S. 19 for West Peachtree Street. 06/01/07

The first set of signs posted for the upcoming split of Interstates 75 and 85 were replaced by 2012 to include the MUTCD-approved left-exit tab. 06/01/07

Signs for Interstates 75 and 85 at Exit 250 were removed by 2011 during a sign replacement, though a new panel touted the left-hand ramp for HOV motorists continuing along I-75 north to Marietta. 06/01/07

Signs attached to the 10th Street overpass for the I-75 & 85 split (Exit 251) were removed and replaced by a new sign bridge installed by 2011. 06/01/07

Overheads added for I-85/75 were replaced after just three years of service in 2014 with a wide APL. Three lanes take travelers onto I-85 northeast to SR 400 at Buckhead and Greenville, South Carolina while three turn northwest for Marietta and Chattanooga, Tennessee via I-75. 12/31/12

Descending toward the end of the I-75/85 overlap below the original 14th Street overpass. Expansion of the freeway here shifted the southbound lanes further west. 06/01/07

New signs accompanied the new 14th Street (U.S. 19) overpass ahead of the I-75/85 separation. These were replaced by 2014 with a wide APL. 12/31/12

These signs installed in 2011 at Exit 251B included larger panels and new overheads for the HOV roadways.
The I-85 HOV lane becomes a High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lane through the northeastern suburbs while the I-75 HOV lane runs through Akers Mill Road (just south of Interstate 285). 12/31/12
