Interstate 75 Georgia - North


Former guide sign posted at the departure ramp to SR 247 south (Pierce Avenue) along Interstate 75 north. A widening project along this stretch of freeway resulted in the installation of new overhead signage at the trumpet interchange. 12/15/01

One mile out from Arkwright Road (Exit 169) to nearby U.S. 23 in northwest Macon. Overheads have since replaced the ground based signage at the diamond interchange. 01/16/04

Two lanes now depart I-75 at Exit 169 for the diamond interchange and Arkwright Road. U.S. 23/SR 87 parallel I-75 closely for another two miles before turning northward toward Juliette and Jackson. 01/16/04

A diagrammatic sign was posted at the Walter Stephens Road overpass, 1.25 miles ahead of the split (Exit 228) with I-675 on I-75 north. A new sign bridge was posted ahead of this overpass, which was later replaced with a new span. 01/16/04

I-75 turns northwest with three lanes to College Park, East Point and Atlanta as a pair of lanes depart at Exit 227 for Interstate 675 north. 01/16/04

A supplemental guide sign referenced the I-675 to I-275 connections with I-20 east and I-85 north. It was removed after 2008. 01/16/04
