0.75 miles south of Exit 6 with U.S. 61 (West River Drive) in Davenport. U.S. 61 formerly traveled east to Downtown Davenport and north to I-80. It was realigned in 2010 to bypass the city on I-280 and I-80. Signs were amended with greenouts to show just U.S. 61 south at Exit 6. 09/04/05

U.S. 61 Business takes the place of the former U.S. 61 mainline along West River Drive into Davenport now. 09/04/05

I-280 west & U.S. 61 north combine with U.S. 6 west at Kimberly Road and Exit 1. I-280 ends one mile north of there, and signs for I-80 were greened out to reference U.S. 61 north. 09/04/05

Exit 1 leaves I-280 west, 0.75 miles south of Interstate 80, where U.S. 61 turns east to its freeway north to DeWitt. 09/04/05
