Two lanes proceeded west along Interstate 295 across U.S. 13 (Dupont Highway) toward the exchange with I-95 and I-495 north. 10/03/04

The SR 141 control city of Lancaster referenced the connection with SR 48 northwest to SR 41 at Hockessin. SR 41 forms a multi-state route with PA 41 to Gap, Pennsylvania. U.S. 30 west links PA 41 with Lancaster from there. 10/03/04

An older overhead for Exit 5 (SR 141 north) remained in use until after 2007. 05/19/07

Heading west from I-295, I-95 follows the Delaware Turnpike to Christiana and Newark. Tolls are collected between Exit 1 (SR 896) and Exit 109 (MD 279) at Elkton. 10/03/04
