While looking for something else, I encountered this study that implies there is a business loop in Walterboro. While I've never heard of such a loop (at least not signed), I thought I'd pass it along to those who are more familiar with Walterboro who may be more familiar with the plans described in the link below. The impression I got was that the streetscape improvements have not yet been funded, and maybe that's why a formal request for a business loop (presumably via SR 63, US 17A, US 15, and SR 64) has not yet been requested.

It may be an implied business loop by the city of Walterboro. There are a number of traveler services at each interchange with I-95, but the trip away from the freeway is less commercial until entering the Downtown area. Most recently drove through their last December.

I can confirm no business loop currently exists in Walterboro; as no current SCDOT maps indicate it exists.  This appears to be more of a development plan by the city than anything else.

I agree. Google Maps doesn't show it either.
Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

That was what I thought it was. Are there any older maps showing such a route?

SCDOT keeps all its old county maps online, via the USC Library.  Here's the link:  http://library.sc.edu/digital/collections/scrm.html

Spoiler Alert - No.

Thanks for the link. Things like this are usually pretty good.
