Interstate: probably either parts of I-190 or I-295, or maybe I-93 through the Fells.

Quote from: deathtopumpkinsI've finished NH and MA

Have you actually finished NH now?  I recall you were much closer to finishing than me last year, yet I beat you to it.

I haven't *technically* finished NH, as I haven't driven the Connecticut River bridges on 25A and 26, but I'm calling it close enough as it's less than a mile shy. You can see the state line in both cases.

This has been the case for a few years now. I got NH to this point before finishing MA in 2018.

I-55 Mississippi
US11/43 (Tuscaloosa)
AL216

Super Mateo

Interstate:  90, the Skyway.  Huge toll and not useful from where I live.
US:  41 in Skokie.  Missing the segment between I-94 and US 14.
State:  IN 312, which I have never been on.  If it must be within my home state, it's IL 126 west of Plainfield, although that's further away.

Keeping this to an Interstate or major highway perspective and within no more than one state over:
I-94 Wisconsin... Never taken it between Milwaukee and Madison, usually I-90 is my route to go that way
I-41 North of Milwaukee... haven't been up that way yet
I-74 West of Indianapolis except for the multiplexed portion in Bloomington/Normal, and between Champaign/Urbana and near Danville, never really had a reason to use the other portions
I-474... same basic reason as I-74
I-155... same basic reason as I-74/474
I-80 short stretch between I-80/74/280 interchange and I-88... always either used I-80 to I-88 to get from Iowa to Chicago or I-280 to I-80
I-180... Basically because this Interstate is useless
IN 912 NW of Gary Airport... Bridge closed, and never traveled it prior to the closure

When I was still riding my Harley, I closed a lot of gaps on state and US highways all over lower Michigan, but one glaring gap for me is I-69 between Lansing and Swartz Creek.

Digging up an old thread.  I clinched I-27 last week which was the closest stretch of interstate that I hadn't been on.  I figured I'd take a look what my closest opportunities are now to get new interstate mileage.

I-94 in Montana between Billings and MT47: 7 hours 52 minutes
I-40 in Oklahoma City east of I-35: 9 hours 17 minutes
I-110 in Texas: 9 hours 24 minutes
I-240 in Oklahoma City east of I-35: 9 hours 26 minutes
I-10 in Texas just east of the I-20 interchange: 10 hours 51 minutes
I-380 in Iowa north of I-80: 11 hours 1 minute (this is the closest that I haven't been on at all)
I-35W in Texas near Denton: 11 hours 17 minutes
I-820 in Texas near I-35W: 11 hours 23 minutes
I-40 in Arizona west of Williams: 11 hours 27 minutes
I-635 in Texas near DFW: 11 hours 41 minutes
I-35E in Texas south of I-345: 11 hours 51 minutes

Everything else is >12 hours.

I-55

Interstate (from school): I-865. I haven't clinched I-465 yet, but I-865 is closer (to both home and school) than what I've missed on I-465.

Interstate (from home): I-80/90 ITR. I will probably never touch the ITR east of South Bend.

US: US-224 IN. I have not traveled between Decatur and Convoy-Heller Rd/OH-49.

IN: IN-37 Allen County Segment

MS: Had to include due to how much I was down there over the last couple years but I never got MS-475 Airport Rd south of US-80 to I-20.

Interesting question ... I'll bite.

Note that these were determined by "eyeballing" maps - possible that I may have missed something closer.

For reference I live in central Maryland, inside the triangle formed by Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington.

Interstate:  I-76 through Philadelphia (airport and north).  Never had a reason to go there.
US Highway:  A piece of US 1 in Baltimore.  Not in a really good neighborhood; avoided for that reason.
State Highway:  MD 206 near Laurel MD.  A new road, it was only recently designated MD 206 in 2014.

To update:

I've since clinched the entirety of MD 206 near Laurel.  Looks like the closet state route is now MD 387 south of Annapolis (Spa Road).  It doesn't really go anywhere interesting so I would probably have make a specific trip there to clinch it.

Interstate:  I-76 through Philadelphia (airport and north).  Never had a reason to go there.
US Highway:  A piece of US 1 in Baltimore.  In a pretty bad neighborhood; avoided for that reason.  One of these days I'll get it.
State Highway:  MD 387 near Annapolis MD.  Never had a reason to go there.

I-5.  I've never been on the southernmost bit between San Diego and the Mexican border.  When I was on road trips to Mexico, we always crossed the border farther inland, Mexicali etc.
