The rain is finally over after 2 weeks and 8 inches of periodic rain. The next week looks pretty dry, but I'll bet the mosquitoes will be an absolute menace, even more than they were a couple of weeks ago when it rained.

92 and sunny.
Woah. Boston has its first 90 degree day of the year before my Houston suburb did (I know Houston proper hit 90 about a month ago)? Wow. Today's high is 85, and it will stay about that for the next 2 weeks. Still no 90 degree days in the forecast.
We've had a couple of days at or around 90.

Low to mid 80s for a quick heat wave. The air is really dry too, which is not helping my nose.

Pfft. 80s sound glorious.

We're getting well into the 90s this week in Salt Lake, including potential record-breaking highs on Wednesday and Thursday (96 and 99 as currently forecast: current records for those days are 94 and 98).

We're surrounded by water, which naturally tempers things. 80s and 90s* is quite significant with that in mind. East of the Cascades (aka, away from water), it's well into triple digits.

At our house, we've only turned the A/C on for one day so far.  The high temps recently have been in the 60s and 70s, with cloudy skies and periods of rain.  This has been very, very unusual for this area.  I still can't get over how often I can sit comfortably on the front porch and read a book in the afternoon.

My wife just messaged me a "Facebook memory" from one year ago today:  she and the boys walked to the convenience store, and the heat index was 97 degrees.  Today's forecast high is 82, which is the warmest it will have been for more than a week.

Most homes here still lack AC units and aren't built to efficiently keep out heat. Our latitude doesn't help either, as the sun is more intense and sticks around for longer in the evenings. My west-facing room clocked in at 81 degrees at midnight.

Some typical June weather after some hot/humid and cool spells recently. High in the mid-70's and mostly sunny.

Here, the days of cool weather in the 60s seem to be over, though I'm surprised it lasted up until the first days of June. For this next week: upper 70s and lower 80s.

Today's temp in Seattle is well below normal. Expected highs maybe 60 if we're lucky, with some rain.

Had an outdoor barbecue planned for today with family, that we planned several weeks ago. June is hit and miss but even we didn't expect such a cool day. Normal high is 70, and not normally too rainy either. Needless to say, it has been moved inside (though cooking will remain outside).

I will take the rain, as it has been relatively dry, but I don't think we're desperate for rain just yet. That may change by September, though.
