Guess the speed limit challenge

Looks like the QEW, so I'm thinking either 100 or 110. I'll try 110.

andrepoiy

I was going to say 110 since that looks like the section where they had a 110 pilot. Oh well, 100 for me then

webny99

It is indeed 110 km/h, near the western end of the pilot 110 km/h zone outside Hamilton. 110 km/h sign here (image is from beyond the overpass). I figured the Canadians might recognize the distinct look of the QEW!  :)

Yes, the QEW has a recognizable look to me. I can't remember if I've driven down that way since the 110 zone was added, but I might drive it this weekend. Would be cool to see the sign (a slow sign of progress in Ontario :D).

Next challenge:
EDIT: In km/h and ends in zero.

40 mph

Sorry, I forgot to mention this is in km/h ending in zero. Do you want to guess 60 or 70?

60. if his is counted as 60, then 50 for me

They said take a left at the fork in the road.  I didn't think they literally meant a fork, until plain as day, there was a fork sticking out of the road at a junction.

The answer ends in a zero. Should I count your guess as 60?

It's been almost 9 hours, so I'll go ahead and count your guess as 60.

This means your guess is 50, which is correct. This recently reconstructed road has a painfully low limit for its design, and is a favourite speed trap for the cops. Here's the street view.

andrepoiy

I don't know why, since that road could have been anywhere in Ontario, but somehow I had a feeling it was in Kitchener-Waterloo. Strange how one could distinguish even though the differences are so subtle.

Here's mine, km/h ending in 0

Thinking it's probably one of the first two guesses, but I'll try 70 km/h.

jakeroot

I will guess 50 km/h even though I hope it isn't.

50, 60, and 70 have already been guessed.

It's been a bit, so let's try this one:
