Nighttime Lows ranging from low 70s to upper 70s tonight; Brownsville in particular will bottom out at a bone-chilling 77 degrees overnight.

Daytime Highs ranging from upper 80s (coast) to mid 90s (inland).  Places like Roma and Sullivan City might approach 100 degrees.

A beautiful summer-like day, mostly sunny and 26C (79F). My first time eating lunch on our deck this year.

Only a few days after this post, we had a dusting of snow last night. Today will only reach 2C (35F) and is overcast. Spring hasn't made up its mind!

Many trees and flowers are already in bloom here. We had snow in the air this morning, but it didn't stick.

Yeah I've noticed in the last week or so the trees are starting to bloom. Hopefully the cold didn't hurt the flowers, but most people here wait until the May Two-Four to plant theirs for that reason.

The small amount of snow melted pretty quickly this morning, though I did have to scrape off my car. It was more ice than snow TBH.

Weather here has been simply horrible for the entire month. There have been like 2 nice days, and all the rest have been cold, windy, rainy, snowy, multiple of those, or all of those. None of the seasonal trees are even close to having leaves yet.

Average temperature in Seattle for April (so far) has been 46.5 degrees, 5 short of normal. This is the coldest April in over a decade and included some days in the 30s.

Temperatures have shot up and down over the past few days with the occasional heavy rain and hailstorm. There's no consistency at all.

^ Does it stay in the 50s all year long where you are??  If so, I'd hate to live there.

Anyway, here it's mid 70s overnight tonight, and then mid 90s tomorrow afternoon.

The average high for April 28 is 62°. The average high on the hottest day of the year (July 26) is 84°.

Maybe add 1° since he's south of me.

Saw some photos on Twitter of the aftermath of a tornado in Andover, KS (just east of Wichita). Looks really bad.

No injuries have been reported so far, but firefighters are still clearing houses.  The Wichita Eagle has one picture of a Buick on top of what remains of a garage, and another of a vehicle thrown through the front glass wall of the Andover YMCA.  There is also video from the inside of the YMCA showing much of the roof is gone.

The 31st anniversary of the Haysville-Andover tornado outbreak (which killed 17 people) was just a few days ago.

Edit:  I could not insert a Twitter URL as a link (my preference, to give people the choice of whether to view possibly disturbing content) because the forum insists on parsing it using Twitter-specific syntax.

Sunny and in the 50s. Can't wait for the warmth of May.

Yes - I've found the same thing and the only way around this is to use tinyurl or another site to convert the link to something the forum doesn't recognize as a tweet.
