Low to mid 70s all week with mostly sunny skies. About perfect for summer here.

God that sounds heavenly. The average daily temperature here this week is 102-104. Lows at night of..91-94. It's miserable. And so sunny and bright everyday. I love Houston but god I hate summer.
I love freeways and roads in any state but Texas will always be first in my heart

The heat wave is over in South Texas, and all remaining heat advisories are being terminated.  Back to normal conditions for the last day of June:

                                     ACTUAL                            AVERAGE

BROWNSVILLE:         99 high; 82 low                     97 high; 79 low
CORPUS CHRISTI:     98 high; 83 low                     96 high; 81 low
LAREDO:                 105 high; 80 low                   103 high; 78 low
MCALLEN:               103 high; 81 low                   100 high; 79 low

Afternoon Heat Index will stay below 120 degrees.....probably maximizing in the 110-118 range; and overnight Heat Index will remain above 90 degrees for vast majority of the area (meaning minimizing in the 90s just before sunrise).

Pretty rigid weather in Okinawa, 85-87 for highs and 80 for lows. Extremely humid. Lots of thunderstorms.

Quoting my last post because almost nothing has changed, although highs are now around 90. Lows still 80s. Not as much rain now, though, we are definitely leaving rainy season.

Denver is only 0.06" of precipitation away from our yearly average after exactly half of the year. I have noticed the amount of bugs is a lot higher than in previous years, actually seeing a mosquito or two in town which I never have before.

80s (and even 90s in some parts) across the Seattle metro area for the week. It's hot and the misuse of fireworks by reckless idiots have already caused a few wildfires. Looking forward to the smoke rolling in and making my AC setup hard to use.

Mother Nature decided Sunday that we needed rain and gave much of central Cook Co between 4-9" of rain which is double the average July rainfall. Major dents in the drought from that in the Chicago metro but we still need more even after that.
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

83 and smoky

We're getting a nice whiff from British Columbia's fires.

There's a fire in the Columbia River Gorge now too. And a few more caused by fireworks (time to ban the things statewide, including on reservations).

I'm really glad the smoke didn't roll in during the weekend.

Went backpacking in the North Cascades and took this picture from Sehale Glacier the day before the smoke rolled in:
