Decommissioned signal on SR 3093/Old US 119 in New Stanton, PA

I'd never seen that light do anything but blink yellow (yellow for old 119 obviously)
(The same with the McCrady Rd / Rt. 130-Beulah Rd light next to where Rt-130 goes under the Parkway East in Churchill.)
I don't have opinions anymore. All I know is that no one is better than anyone else, and everyone is the best at everything

The oldest signal I can find in the whole state of Utah (though I haven't been actively searching for it by any stretch of the imagination). In Salt Lake City too! The lesser cross-street even has sensors for the light. This is an incredibly rare sight in a place where pretty much nothing from before the late-80s exists.
Infrastructure. The city.

More Decommissioned Mast Signals...

Why do they leave the signals in place?  Is that in case they want to reactivate them, or do they just don't want to spend the money to take them down?

My guess is that they don't want to spend the money to take them down, like these

I need to go back and see if these are still there (Perry, OK). These photos are about 10 years old.

According to street view they still are!

Saw this old set of signals one block off U.S. 84 in Jessup. We turned around and snapped a few photos. The signals are set to flash red.

Here's an older 8" light from downtown Toronto:

I'm guessing this one is from the 70's to 80s' but I'm not sure on it's age or make/model.

It appears to be a GE (General Electric), and a nice one at that.

No.   :-P

Actually, the wires are for Toronto's streetcar system.

That, or the old Electric Bus system depending on the location of that light.

If it was for trolleybuses there'd be two parallel wires instead of just one.

Thanks, I'm not that that good at identifying traffic signal makes.

Yeah the wires suspended over the roadway are for the streetcar system. The other ones are for the power distribution and phone systems.  Toronto still has a lot of overhead wiring in some parts of the city, even the power poles still have a old look to them with their wooden crossarms (not in the above pic)
