Left turns across the 11/15 carriage way are already difficult in a few places, and a few jughandle-type intersections exist in a few spots already (such as the PA 14 intersection).

I think you meant PA 34 and/or PA 104.

On the Allegheny County Belt Route System, as you get closer to the bottom of the rainbow, you get closer to Downtown Pittsburgh.  So, with the Green Belt, you begin to move closer to the inner suburbs, and for a brief moment or two, within the limits of the City of Pittsburgh.  With this, I had expected to travel through some of the higher-density neighborhoods and communities surrounding the city.  As I drove through the hollows and cut across the North Hills, I did not expect the scenery of the Green Belt to closely resemble its name.

I've always wondered how Live Fast stays in operation.  They kind of strike me as having much in common with the field-filler teams of the late 1990s and early 2000s. 

Well they did sell that 78 charter for $40 million a couple years ago so that has to be part of it.

Hopefully she can get a top twenty on an oval (assuming she runs another this year).  The social media talk about a rookie driver in her 40s has been really shitty. 

That is very unlikely as long as she is in the 78 unless it is a huge attrition race (probably even moreso than Atlanta last week).  Having stated that, I am glad that she ran well at a road course.

Drove US-58 through Mecklenburg County today and noticed that it now has posted mile makers every half mile, added sometime between 2023 and February 2025. Since VA doesn't usually post mileposts on US routes, does anyone know if this is just a one-off?

This is a great usage of secondary control cities that should be followed in areas with limitations on sign area.  The main cities are on the main signs and secondary cities can be either on supplemental signage or as posted there, on the third sign of the overhead, in smaller font to cover all secondary cities.
