Quote from: dvferyance on July 02, 2025, 08:47:47 PMI am not a big fan of roundabouts but I got to admit I do like the new one the put in by the Kalahari. Very creative giving it a Kalahari theme in the middle.

< smile >

Where they have been installed here in the Fox Valley, they have been the ideal solutions for their locations.  Also the two roundabouts on Bluemound Dr (Outagamie County 'AA") at the Fox Valley Technical college entrances, including their über-popular OTR truck driving school.

Liverpool star and Portuguese international Diogo Jota died in a car accident overnight. Super sad. Great player and just got married 11 days ago. Had three kids with his widow as well.

Quote from: Bobby5280 on July 01, 2025, 04:32:50 PMIt's probably worth mentioning (or reminding anyone) the new bridge structure visible in the press release photo is just one half of the overall project. That's just the Southbound side. When that is completed the old bridge will be demolished and the Northbound half will be built over the same location. I'm just pointing out that detail since some of the bridge rendering image links earlier in this thread appear to be broken.

I wonder what the toll will be to cross the new bridge. IIRC the project cost around $960 million.

They will spread the toll for the bridge out over the entire HCTRA system. Right now it is $2.50 for the bridge. Any increase will be (again) spread out over the entire HCTRA system. This is the highest segment of HCTRA tolls, but some of the Express lanes (TxDOT) are higher and are dynamically priced.
