*sigh*

Once again, |US71| didn't check to see if he had played that card already.

The last valid play was Exit 92 by |SD Mapman|.

Jim's play of 92 km to Vik still works regardless of US71's post, so I think we're okay to keep going.

Yes. I'd add also that the challenged post was reply #9081, 15 posts before kphoger's challenge. We don't have a limit on challenges, like Rule 2 in the Street Sign Name game ("Any play may be challenged as long as no more than five plays have been made after it. After five plays, a play stands and cannot be challenged."). Still, it's rather late to unwind the thread, even if Jim hadn't already fixed the problem.

That's really odd considering I spent 10 minutes looking just the right post.

Also odd that the second I post, I get attacked, as if someone is lying in wait for me to fuck up.

Yep, which is why I suggested that exact thing.  It's what I do before I post any picture in here.

Pro tip, guys:  do an in-thread search for your filename before posting.

I almost always do that, using a within-thread search for the four-digit image code in the filename for most of my photos. Takes just a few seconds. That pulls up some other users' photos, and some other photos I've posted, but narrows the search for the photo I want to play. Also, that not only saves me from replaying a sign I've already played, but also highlights when I've already played a photo but for a different number from the sign I want to play (in which case I can note the number already used).

Whenever I think I recognize a photo from earlier in the game, I search for the filename to see if it was played already–not just yours.  But yours seem to be the only ones that regularly come up as duplicates.  For example, I keep searching for |SD Mapman|'s photos too, because I keep thinking I've seen them before, but apparently they just remind me of other photos he's played.

Well, I don't have a very large geographical range to draw from, so that's understandable. I only have a few photos, (and have only been doing this since like February) so I have a pretty good remembrance of what I've done.

Do you have a link to some information about such reserve routes?  This is the first time I've seen them, I think.

I don't, in part because my French is weak. Such routes are really common on the most remote parts of TCH/QC 117, between QC 105 and QC 113, but there are others here and there elsewhere in Quebec.

An Internet search could use the magic words "reserves fauniques", which appears on all such signs.

Doesn't matter to me if we jump back or just carry on, but the same US 73 End was played twice before.  So I'll play a Wild to carry the game on uninterrupted.  Taken on US 340, July 4, 2006.
