The Rules Are
1. No hyperlinks to websites with pictures unless Google Images, or Google Maps.
2. If one person puts US Highway 412 down, then it must continue to the next route number, even if it is a few hundred numbers away.
3. Pictures with one shield in it are encouraged, but more than one shield is fine.
4. Generally, if the only pictures you have are ones of the shields hanging in your garage, that's fine.
5. No drawings, website generations, or fake ones of any kind.
6. Shields with numbers like this: http://www.kentuckyroads.com/images/us31ex/03nov28-2_t.jpg (http://www.kentuckyroads.com/images/us31ex/03nov28-2_t.jpg) ARE allowed, but if one number is E, and another one is N, then it must continue to N before advancing.
Good Luck.
Nowhere in the rules is it mentioned what counts as a valid photo.

It's interesting that all the photos so far are in different states that border each other.

There are a few US 28 shields in places that should have a SR 28. Same with 37, 38, and 39.

It's ambiguous. I'd guess that suffixes are optional normally but required for a route if introduced. Not exactly the most consistent approach...
Since US 9 only has 9W, I guess it's your choice.
I'll play US 10. But that suffix rule is ambiguous. If one letter is E, then the other letter will be W, not N or S.

I think we also skipped US 11W, if I'm reading the rule correctly:
Quote6.
So H.B. introduced a number with E–in this case, 11E–and in his photo, "another one" was–in this case–W. So the game had to continue to W–in this case, 11W–before advancing to US 12. In other words, other suffixes introduced in a photo must get their own entries in sequence before we can move on to the next non-suffixed route number, is that right?
Don't believe it is required to get all the suffixes ('allowed' vs 'must do') but this should take care of all your US 11 needs...

Ah, US 76 is probably my all-time favorite US Highway, which is why it is my avatar, and has been so since roughly late 2014 or early 2015.
If anyone is just dying to see another picture of the magnificent US Highway 76, this is the one I intended to post if I had done so in time: https://www.flickr.com/photos/127322363@N08/32429843176/in/dateposted-public/

The outline US 61 sign was my photo from the freeway north of the Quad Cities. That particular sign is gone, but there are still two in place along Scott County F55 (pics posted on the main site) (https://www.aaroads.com/guide.php?page=c0f55ia) just north of I-80.

Next up is US 150, unless we have some errors to play in the rest of the 140s.
Here's a US114, farmed from another thread:

Well, I've recycled my picture of the south end of US-151 for use in like four threads now, so I don't see the problem of recycling it in this thread itself. :bigass:
Edit: I should really go back during the summer months and get a better picture, but I digress...

I'd post it anyway since although it's not in the formal rules, we have informally been doing one number per post up to now (which I think makes it more fair for everyone).

Yes, another person can post a shield from the same route if it hasn't advanced yet.
Let's keep it going with the next number in the sequence, US 319:

The error still occurs there to this day.
So, once US-730 (830, maybe?) is posted, is this thread over or are we going to start at 1 again?
I believe we're still looking for a US 401. I have plenty, but since I posted 400, I'll wait to see if anyone else covers it.
