I'm glad I can do 202 because this picture is weird.  Take a good look at it.  I'm on the sidewalk, and the signface is facing away from the road.  This signpost in NJ was twisted and mangled so it faces away from the auto traffic.

North Carolina has xxxA for US 221 and US 321. Which gets us into that whole "should alternate routes be signed as 'Alternate' or 'Alt' xx, or as xxA?" discussion.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there's nothing until 250.  This is at I-71 in Ohio.

Also, are there historic US 240 photos out there?

If you don't want backtracks to cover historic and error signs, let's not be too quick to speed past US route numbers not currently in use.
