Saginaw spelled backwards is Wanigas. Wanigas is the name of a credit union in Saginaw (well used to be until they merged with Financial Plus Credit Union. But I always thought the Wanigas name was a cool play on Saginaw being spelled backwards.
Wikipedia lists a few places called Nova (and some personal names and a whole bunch of companies), which is Avon backwards.
Wichita has a street named Aksarben.

You can spell Laval backwards and it still results in the city's name.
Snave is a village in England. Evans is a town in northern Colorado (and other places too, I'm sure).
Aksarben is also a section of Omaha, Nebraska

Palindromes is what I first thought of when seeing this thread. The first such places I thought of were Navan, "Southern" Ireland and Noyon, department no. 60 (Oise), France.

Yewed, Oklahoma, was named such for similar reasons, though in that case both Yewed and Dewey were named after Admiral George Dewey.
