Place names you can spell backwards and still get a name

Saginaw spelled backwards is Wanigas. Wanigas is the name of a credit union in Saginaw (well used to be until they merged with Financial Plus Credit Union. But I always thought the Wanigas name was a cool play on Saginaw being spelled backwards.

Wikipedia lists a few places called Nova (and some personal names and a whole bunch of companies), which is Avon backwards.

Palindromes is what I first thought of when seeing this thread. The first such places I thought of were Navan, "Southern" Ireland and Noyon, department no. 60 (Oise), France.
