The server restarts at 2 AM and 6 PM Eastern Time daily. This results in a short period of downtime, so if you get a 502 error at those times, that is why.

Has US 35 been cut back to US 20 yet, as approved by AASHTO in 2008?

Yes it has been truncated back to US-20. All the signs have been removed from US-12 back to US-20 including the overhead signs at US-12.
