Louisiana "Cajun" (Acadian) Bilingual Signs

The Nova Scotia Transportation Department honours the Acadian culture in the Province with special bilingual highway signs in the Acadian Regions.......Does Louisiana have similar bilingual signs in the "Cajun"  (Acadian) regions of the State?

Yes there are some in LaFayette.

Some of the street blades in Lafayette are bilingual, especially in downtown, but otherwise the old French-Creole heritage tributes are surprisingly lacking.

There used to be more bilingual signs on the Univ. of Louisiana-Lafayette campus...but even those signs have mostly disappeared.

Maybe as part of Louisiana's Bicentennial celebration this coming year, Lafayette may be induced to bring some back.

Not in Cajun Country, but there's the "Bienvenue en Louisiane" sign when crossing over from Vicksburg.

That's Louisiana's standard welcome sign, so you're going to find it at all the major state line crossings.
